Your competitors use email to make sales. They use professional, eye-catching and engaging emails to bring new and existing customers to their websites encouraging traffic and purchases. Your competitors are making money using email. And you can too.
The overall average open rate increased 6% in 2013
Companies and organisations use targeted email marketing to promote their products and services, and increase ROI for their business.
For every campaign you can expect between 16.3%-34.4% of recipients to open your email.
1.6%-5.9% of recipients will click a link through to your website.
These figures may appear low but the return is substantial when you consider the thousands, or hundreds of thousands, of people you could email.
DMA Survey Statistics
The UK Direct Marketing Association (DMA) recently surveyed 250 brand marketers on their use and return by email marketing. The estimated average return on every £1 spent on email was £21.48.
20% of those reporting ROI figures in 2014 were seeing returns of £51 or more.
For approximately 33% of respondents, email was responsible for at least 50% of all digital revenue.

Companies and organisations are making money hand over fist through email marketing. It’s cheap, effective and you have very little to lose by running your own campaigns. Don’t be left behind. Statistics show it is worth it. Even if you are still unsure about email marketing, start collecting email addresses for when you are ready.
